Privacy Policy

SLKR Academy is operated by SLKR Entertainment LLC. We collect account information needed to register, sign in, and bill a subscription. We also save learning progress to that account: learner names, the questions each child tries, whether each answer was right, how long each one took, and the help step reached. We do not add advertising, behavioral advertising, third-party analytics, or social tracking.

Accounts

User registration and authentication are handled by Supabase. The account holds sign-in credentials, learner profiles, and synced practice progress, so both access and progress can resume when you sign in again, including after you clear browser data, end a private browsing session, or restart your device. Progress must finish syncing before you close the page for that to apply. Archiving a learner keeps that profile and its progress for 30 days, then deletes them. You can delete an archived learner before then. Deleting the account deletes those learners and that progress, and cancels the Stripe subscription so recurring charges stop.

Billing

Recurring monthly billing is processed by Stripe. Stripe receives the payment details needed to charge SLKR Academy and to keep access available through the paid billing period after a cancellation. Deleting the account cancels that subscription. If Stripe cannot be reached at the time of deletion, the account is left in place until billing can be canceled.

Local device storage

Sound and reduced-motion preferences may be stored in your browser so the original interface still respects those controls. This device may also remember which learner was last selected. Until the server confirms a save, unsent practice records wait in a local queue. Clearing site data before that confirmation can remove the queue. Work that has not synced could still be lost when browser data is cleared. After the server confirms a save, that progress stays on the account.
